Latina Therapist In Las Vegas, NV & Virtually in Nevada and Washington
Culturally Responsive Therapy for First-Gen Latinx Professionals
Signs You’re Struggling with First-Gen Guilt, Burnout, or Relationship Tension
You've built the life. The career. The stability. The version of yourself your family sacrificed so much for. So why doesn't it feel like enough? The pressure you carry isn’t just personal. It’s cultural. Generational.
If you said yes to any of these, you're in the right place.
You lie awake replaying a fight with your partner that started over something small, and you still don't know how it got that bad.
You got the promotion, the raise, the thing you worked for, and instead of feeling proud, you just moved the goalpost.
Your family sees your success, and somehow that means you can fix everything, the money problems, the drama, the things nobody else will handle.
You snapped at someone you love and heard your father's voice come out of your mouth.
Why Work With a Latina Therapist Near You?
You've spent years explaining yourself.
Why your parents' opinions still matter so much. Why a simple boundary as the child of immigrants is never actually simple. Why you can feel proud of what you've built and guilty for being there at the same time. You won't have to explain any of that here.
I already know. I’m Latina. First-generation. I understand the unspoken rules because I grew up with them, too. Read more about my approach.
I've spent the last seven years working specifically with Latinx professionals navigating exactly this: the success, the guilt, the family weight, the relationships that strain under pressure you can't fully name. This is the work I do.
What Culturally Responsive Therapy Can Do for Your Life & Relationships
A life where:
Your relationships are a place you exhale, not a place you brace for impact
You can sit in an uncertain moment without needing to fix it immediately
Your wins actually feel like wins not just proof you haven't slowed down yet
You can rest without negotiating for it

I help first-generation Latinx professionals who snap at the people they love, can't sit still without guilt, and feel like their success isn't really theirs, stop repeating what they swore they'd never do, and start living the life they've built.

Finding a licensed Latina therapist comes down to matching your location with someone who understands your cultural background. I am a licensed therapist providing both in-person sessions at my office in Summerlin and virtual therapy across Nevada and Washington.. Whether you are searching for a bilingual therapist near you in the Las Vegas valley or prefer telehealth, you can schedule a free initial consultation to ensure we are the right fit.

Culturally sensitive therapy means you don't have to explain your background, translate cultural idioms, or justify deep-rooted family dynamics like familismo, high expectations, or boundary guilt. As a bilingual Latina therapist, I integrate evidence-based practices like EMDR with cultural humility. We create a space where you can honor your roots while breaking cycles that no longer serve your personal growth

Yes, I offer both. I provide in-person therapy sessions in Las Vegas at my Summerlin office location. For clients who prefer the flexibility of online therapy, I also provide secure, HIPAA-compliant virtual therapy for individuals and couples residing anywhere in Nevada and Washington.

In many Latinx households, mental health carries stigma ("la ropa sucia se lava en casa" or "eso es para locos"). You don't have to disclose your therapy journey to your family if you aren't ready. Therapy is a private, confidential space for your personal growth. If you do want to talk to them, we can practice strategies in our sessions to help you communicate your decision with confidence.

I operate as a private-pay (out-of-network) practice to ensure your care remains completely confidential, flexible, and tailored to your needs without restrictions imposed by insurance companies. I can provide you with a monthly document (called a Superbill) that you can submit to your insurance provider for potential out-of-network reimbursement.
